Book Submission Guidelines

Sabellapress publishes 10-20 books per year with no particular bias toward genre or topic.
We seek well written work from all walks of life. We consider fiction (novels, short story
collections), non-fiction, or poetry collections.
Authors receive royalties equal to 15% of the cover price along with sales incentives.
Do not send complete manuscripts. Send a query to editor@sabellapress.com using the
following guidelines:
1. In the subject box of your query email please use one of the following choices:
Book Query Novel
Book Query Short Stories
Book Query Non-Fiction
Book Query Poetry
2. In the text of your email please follow this format:
1. State your book title.
2. Provide a brief synopsis of your book (for poetry, include up to 5 sample poems).
3. Provide a brief biography including any significant writing credits or awards.
4. Explain who the target audience of your work might be.
5. Explain what you intend to do to promote sales of your book.
It may take up to 60 days before we respond to the query. If we decide to consider your
book, we will request a complete manuscript for consideration.
