The Rat Grinned Blue Through a Barrel of Dreams
Nate Maxson
A 20 year old native of Albuquerque, Maxson takes his influence from the Beat generation to create a poetry of vivid
imagery, striking musicality, and primal emotion. Through his studies of Ginsberg and Corso, Maxson learned that poetry
can be provocative, vital, dangerous and beautiful all at the same time. He is an emerging voice of a new generation of
poetry, rooted in oral tradition and graced with artistic vision.
