| Calling for Submissions for Growing Voices: Granting Change for Youth |
Sabellapress seeks submissions of poetry, fiction, or non-fiction for an anthology
that explores youth issues. We are interested in writing from teachers and other
professionals, parents and youth. Any youth centered topic is acceptable:
educational experiences, foster care, homeless youth, drugs, music and culture,
positive youth role models, ect.
All submitted work should be previously unpublished, except for excerpts from
books for which the author owns the copyright. Sales of this book will benefit
non-profit agencies. Each author will receive a free copy as the sole payment.
Sabellapress will claim one-time publication rights. All other rights remain with the
author.
Please submit up to ten poems or up to 10,000 words of prose via email to
editor@sabellapress.com. Your submission may either be an MS Word or RFT file
attachment, or in the body of your email. Please include a brief biography
explaining why this theme is important to you. If you are a youth, please provide
your age.
